This amazing kit enables children to watch baby caterpillars grow, change into a chrysalis and hatch out as Painted Lady Butterflies. The whole experience takes 3 to 5 weeks and ends when the butterflies are released back into nature. The kit contains a certificate, which is redeemed via post or the Internet. You will receive back a small container with 5 baby caterpillars and all the food they need inside. The kit has been fully endorsed by Butterfly Conservation and the caterpillars can be sent to most major European Countries. It is a truly remarkable activity to watch children enjoy and not too onerous as far as a pet responsibility goes. Kit Contains: Re-usable Hatching Net measuring 30cm in height, Certificate for 5 caterpillars and food, Feeding Pipette and full Instructions. Please Note: Caterpillars are only dispatched between March and mid-September. There is an additional postage charge of £2.99 for the caterpillars.
