The award winning GeoSafari Motorized Solar System gives children the opportunity to explore our solar system as the motorized model rotates and revolves. The 'sun's' ultra-bright 1000-hour replaceable bulb creates spectacular results in a darkened room. The black base has longitude markings to aid the correct placement of the 8 planets and dwarf planet Pluto. There are four different modes allowing you to use the light and motion separately. Fit the unique star dome included and convert your model into a planetarium! When constructed the unit measures approx. 24cm in height and 75cm between the two furthest points. The kit comes complete with activity guide, facts, and full explanation of the reclassification of Pluto. This kit Requires 4 C batteries (not included) and can also be powered with an AC adapter (not included)
