Just touch the smart pen to the GeoSafari Jr. Talking Globe to hear facts about the world around us! Featuring the voice of Bindi Irwin to teach children about animals and nature as they investigate the features of the world. There are 5 areas of information to explore; Continents & Oceans, Nature, Countries, Cities & Capitals and USA Cities & States. The globe has 3 modes that cover these areas; ‘Explore’ which gives extra information about a location on the globe, ‘Quiz’ which tests children’s knowledge about the facts they have learnt (a nature quiz would include questions like ‘where does a blowfish live?’) and ‘Measure’ which lets children measure the distance between two locations on the globe (in miles, kilometres and using objects such as the Eiffel Tower to meaningfully demonstrate distance in way that is accessible to children). There’s 12 hours of audio for children to discover and listen to. When kids are done, the smart pen fits in the base of the globe. Educational Insights have created a great toy for encouraging independent learning and satisfying children’s curiosity!
