The third in a series of coding games from Thinkfun. The screen-free nature of this game allows kids to fully focus on core programming concepts, without getting distracted! To win, you need to power up your robot. However, each robot has its own rules you’ll need to follow to find the right spot to place your power cells. You’ll need to use logic and deduction to power the correctly coloured wires. As the challenges get more difficult this becomes a cunning process of elimination in order to fulfil all of the rules.

The rules you’ll have to satisfy will involve boolean logic, used in real-life coding! This involves programming concepts such as ‘OR, ‘AND’, ‘NOT’ and ‘XOR’. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of these as the game introduces these concepts gradually, with 4 levels of difficulty; beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert. Before you know it these types of logic gates will be second nature. There’s plenty of tokens to place on the board to keep track of your observations, as you systematically deduce the solution! And if you’re feeling frazzled, there’s a separate solution booklet to get you back on track.
