Well-built microscopes are constructed using glass eye pieces rather than plastic to achieve sharper, clearer results. This microscope boasts 2 interchangeable glass eye pieces and 3 rotating lenses. The Geosafari MicroPro from Educational Insights offers between 50x – 600x magnification. The 10x eye piece has 50x, 150x and 300x magnification, while the 20x eye piece has a 100x, 300x and 600x magnification. The body of the microscope is made from die cast metal, tilts for easy viewing and has a wide base for stability. Use the mirror feature to illuminate your specimens with an external light source, or flip the mirror over to turn on the bulb. These versatile lighting features allow for use with or without batteries, indoors or out. With the addition of even more specimen vials and slides included, this new version has recently been upgraded from 48 to a 95 piece set, so the science never ends! There’s even a sturdy plastic carry case to keep everything safe in!
