I went to your store in Kingston yesterday, and was very impressed.
Great selection of learning toys, however the most impressive thing was the staff knowledge. I had Eva assisting me, and she knew the products, how they worked and could recommend different items to me. I am from Australia, and am constantly disappointed by customer service in this country, where the staff don’t know the products and barely know the name of the shop they work in.
I was a very stressed Group Scout Leader trying to work out whether the Rocket Kit that I found on Amazon and then contacted Fun Learning directly to check on the size of pop bottle could be launched with the kit that was listed, to include a smaller bottle. I needed the kits for a Scout Group Family end of term BBQ on the Friday, and time was running out. When I spoke to Joe he was very good in checking out what size bottle would fix onto the connector of the launcher, after a very short time of consulting with another colleague he confirmed that a 3 litre plastic pop bottle would work with the connection. The delivery of them would be too long for me but he dealt with my order on the phone and because the Postman had not come he was able to get it straight into the system. I was pleased with the service that he gave me and how quickly he could organise the posting of the Rocket Kits. The Kits arrived by the next day and I was very relieved and happy with the kits.
I am sure that it is very difficult sometimes with some customers on the phone but at all times Joe was calm, I felt that he was a very caring and helpful individual and with him doing what he did was excellent. Thanks to Joe’s quick and confident dealing with my request, I had everything in place and we had a great time with the Rockets during the event and the Parents had as much as their Beaver, Cub and Scout children.
I just wanted to drop you a line to say how helpful and friendly your staff are, every time we come into your shop we are greeted with smiles and lots of offers of assistance. We popped in just before went on holiday in July and spoke a someone called Lisa (I think) We told her how unsuccessful we had been with the stick insects we had got for our son. She had some newly hatched eggs which she kindly gave us. Which to my boys delight have been growing from strength to strength. She didn’t have to do this but we are extremely happy she did. You only tend to get letters of complaint from customers, that is why I feel it is just as important to write and say how nice it is to have great service and what a wonderful team you have in the Bromley store.
A ‘thank you’ to the team at the Kingston shop for, yet again, making shopping for gifts a stress-free delight. As usual the staff were helpful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entirely un-pushy. While I was looking at one item a member of staff came up to me to explain its limitations (not something I could have worked out for myself). Her advice prevented a possible ‘birthday present disappointment’ disaster. I left (as usual!) with more items than I had intended to buy, a smaller hole in my wallet than expected, and needing an answer to the question ‘Why can’t every shop be like this?’ Thank you!
My Son & I were in your Guildford store today & found all the staff to be polite, friendly & informative…. we liked the lay out of the shop & the choices on offer, great little store! 🙂
I Visited your Guildford store on a day out and wanted to say how impressed I was. The staff were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all the products.
I would just like to say how welcoming and friendly the staff members were in the Brighton store when i went in there whilst visiting Brighton. They allowed me to play with several games to see how they work without any pressure to buy. I cant praise them enough for their customer service and would be grateful if my feedback could be passed on to them. Thank you and well done to everyone.
